We are big on using natural products in our house and I've spent my share of money on them, whew! Between the base cost of the products and the time and energy to drive to the city where they were available, I was quickly loosing my taste for them.
About a year ago, I asked a friend in the cleaning business to help me with a house that we were getting ready to rent. She put me in charge of windows, oh joy. She handed me a bucket of water with just a dash of Warhorse in it and a microfiber cloth. She said "Wet the towel, ring it out, wipe them down and move on." I said "Where are the paper towels?" She looked at me hard and said, "Wet the towel, ring it out, wipe them down and move on." All of the windows came out clean, streak free and took half the time because I din't have to go back and dry them.
My friend left me with about a cup of Warhorse to try washing our clothes with and to use around my house. It worked great for my laundry and I only used about 2 tablespoons for a load. Soon after this I got my first gallon of Warhorse and now it's the only cleaner I buy. I love the fact that Warhorse is a non-toxic, very reliable cleaner. It's a bonus that this product is made in our area and by people we know.
I HAVE PERSONALLY USED IT TO CLEAN:
- Car grease on shirts
- mold/mildew on tub mats
- olive oil drips on dress shirts
- oily film from sheet metal on jeans
- dog and child spills on car upholstery
- baseboards and trim work
- and of course windows
